I took a weekend off from work and Jon decided that we were going to go to the Bristol Race in Tennessee. We decided to stay in Roanoke, Virginia which is about two hours from Bristol. We wanted to to visit a few sights while we were in the area and we went to Appomattox Court House, where Lee's Army surrendered at the end of the Civil War.  Courthouse in Appomattox Court House. We stayed two nights in Roanoke Virginia. Roanoke is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Although the mountains are different from Utah's Mountains, it made me feel more at home. Leaf Bug Roanoke
