Ocean City

Jon has a friend from Utah that has been in town doing some training at Fort Meade. We decided to take him to see the Atlantic Ocean. Since I was off the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we decided that would be a good day to go. Luckily, it was also a gorgeous day.  Jon in front of the ocean AJ in front of the ocean Looking north down the beach Seashells Large seashell

On the way home from Cleveland, went through Puxsutawney, Pennsylvania.  It is the famous sight that every year on Groundhog Day, Puxsutawney Phil is taken out of his burrow and predicts how long the winter will be. It also the town that the film Groundhog Day is supposed to take place.  Statue of Phil There are several statues of Groundhog's throughout the town. I'm not sure but it looked interesting. The following day, we headed to Cleveland, and went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I really enjoyed the R&R Hall of Fame. There were many interesting exhibits, some were old artists and some were new artists. I had no idea who some were but I enjoyed learning about them. There were several neat exhibits where you could hear songs of One Hit Wonders, another where you could listen to the inductees music. We saw the wall with all the inductees signatures on them. Some individuals were in there as part of a group as well as by themselves. Jon bought a shirt with all the inductees names on it and the year that they were inducted.  The Hall of Fame Johnny Cash's Tour Bus Cleveland Skyline Cleveland Browns Stadium and a Windmill Firefighters Memorial in front of the Stadium Dustin's Cleveland Rocks Jon Dustin in front off the Stadium Jon in front of the Stadium  Lighthouse Nine Inch Nails drum set in ...
