Jon's friend AJ was leaving to go back to Utah right before Christmas, so the weekend before he left we took him to DC to see the DC Christmas Trees. It has become a Tradition for Jon and I to go every year and see the trees. We actually drove to Capital Hill and parked and saw the Capital Christmas Tree first and then walk to the Ellipse to see the National Christmas Tree (by the White House). However, my pictures loaded mixed up and it will take too long to fix so we will start with the first picture of the trees at the Ellipse. There are fifty-six trees surrounding the National Tree and they represent all fifty states and the District of Columbia as well as the Territories and are decorated by students in each state. This is actually Utah's tree. It was positioned just right to get a great shot of the Washington Monument.
