Newseum
Jon and I got discount tickets to the Newseum so on January 22 we took the train down to DC and visited the museum. It was very interesting. We visited the Berlin wall as well as the East Berlin Guard tower.

These are my artsy images of Jon checking out the front pages about Katrina. He looks like he is absorbed in the sadness of the event. But he is actually reading all the other stories that don't have anything to do with Katrina.

This is a radio tower that was on top of one of the Twin Towers that fell on September 11.

This is an image of the radio tower through a glass window. Surrounding this window was photos that were taken of the Towers falling by a man who was killed when the second tower fell. The bottom of the window has the photographers equipment.
It was very interesting thing to see at the Newseum and it was worth the time we spent there.
