Adri, James, and the Splash Pad

On Tuesday my sister came to visit and we went SHOPPING! We went shopping for her baby girl due in October. We bought her all kinds of little outfits. We took James to McDonald's so he could play in the Play Place.


He was being a bit shy at first.


He knows right where the toys are at Grandma's House


He climbed to the top of the Play Place. He had never climbed that high before and while he was so proud at first, he got scared and Adri had to go rescue him.


In the Target parking lot. We gave him a sucker and if you look closely, you can see his teeth are blue.



He LOVES his Uncle Cam.

When we first got there, hardly anyone was there.

James climbed up on one of the toadstools and Adri told him no.

After the Splash pad we went and hung out at my mom's house. He was playing with Teesha.

He picked up a rotten apple off the ground and we told him to go give it to Teesha. He went and hid in the garage and ate it. But we caught him. When my mom got home we went and got Tony's Pizza and had dinner. It was a wonderful day.

Appomattox Court House

I took a weekend off from work and Jon decided that we were going to go to the Bristol Race in Tennessee. We decided to stay in Roanoke, Virginia which is about two hours from Bristol. We wanted to to visit a few sights while we were in the area and we went to Appomattox Court House, where Lee's Army surrendered at the end of the Civil War.  Courthouse in Appomattox Court House. I learned that the name of the town is Appomattox Court House but nothing actually took place in this building. This is the back of the building. Front of the Courthouse.
