Pittsburg

After visiting the United 93, we continued on to Pittsburgh. We went to eat at Primanti Brothers' Restaurant. It was delicious. Afterwards, we walked around the city.

After exploring the city, we headed back to our hotel. We relaxed for a little while and then Dustin decided that he wanted to go to a sports bar and watch the MLB playoffs. We took off in a direction and eventually ended up on the hill overlooking Pittsburgh.  It was the most beautiful sight. The pictures don't do the justice but here they are. 





Eventually, we made it to Buffalo Wild wings and caught the end of the game. The funny thing is that we just went the wrong direction. If we would have went right instead of left, we would have found the restaurant right away and would have never seen the beauty of Pittsburgh!

Appomattox Court House

I took a weekend off from work and Jon decided that we were going to go to the Bristol Race in Tennessee. We decided to stay in Roanoke, Virginia which is about two hours from Bristol. We wanted to to visit a few sights while we were in the area and we went to Appomattox Court House, where Lee's Army surrendered at the end of the Civil War.  Courthouse in Appomattox Court House. I learned that the name of the town is Appomattox Court House but nothing actually took place in this building. This is the back of the building. Front of the Courthouse.
