National Zoo

Jon had a conference in DC yesterday so I met him afterwards and we went to the Zoo. Although it was kind of a rainy afternoon,, there were lots of animals out. Many were sleeping but you could still see them. I saw most of the animals that live at the zoo.


We saw the Asian small-clawed otters. They were lined up waiting to get their pictures taken. So cute.



We also saw the Giant Panda Tain Tain.



Elephants playing with tire swing. He seemed to be having a good time.

This is a snapping turtle, He sat with his mouth open for ten minutes.
