Ocean City




On Sunday Jon and I decided to take the two hour drive to Ocean City. We knew that it would be crowded but still fun. We got up early and made the two hour drive. We played in the water for awhile and sun bathed. It was so relaxing laying in the sun.




We then walked along the boardwalk and had lunch. It was then that I began to feel the sunburn. It was bad. But now its just starting to peel.

Appomattox Court House

I took a weekend off from work and Jon decided that we were going to go to the Bristol Race in Tennessee. We decided to stay in Roanoke, Virginia which is about two hours from Bristol. We wanted to to visit a few sights while we were in the area and we went to Appomattox Court House, where Lee's Army surrendered at the end of the Civil War.  Courthouse in Appomattox Court House. I learned that the name of the town is Appomattox Court House but nothing actually took place in this building. This is the back of the building. Front of the Courthouse.
