Swings and Slides

Maybe its because everyone back in Utah is complaining about bad weather but lately I just want to get outside and enjoy nature. So on the 12th of May, I picked Jon up from school and we went to the park. I made him take pictures of me on the swing and as I slid down the slide.

Appomattox Court House

I took a weekend off from work and Jon decided that we were going to go to the Bristol Race in Tennessee. We decided to stay in Roanoke, Virginia which is about two hours from Bristol. We wanted to to visit a few sights while we were in the area and we went to Appomattox Court House, where Lee's Army surrendered at the end of the Civil War.  Courthouse in Appomattox Court House. I learned that the name of the town is Appomattox Court House but nothing actually took place in this building. This is the back of the building. Front of the Courthouse.
